Riftbound TCG Card Database

Riftbound is the League of Legends Trading Card Game from Riot Games. Two players each pick a Legend (champion), build a deck around one or two of the six Domains, and battle for points across face-up Battlefields. First to 8 points wins. The first set, Origins, launched October 2025.

Riftbound is a two-player game with a Legend, a Chosen Champion Unit, a 40-card main deck, three Battlefields, and a separate 12-card rune deck. Each turn you spend Energy and sometimes Power to play Units, Spells, and Gear, then fight over face-up Battlefields to score points by Conquering or Holding them. First to 8 points wins. The official Riftbound core rules live on the Riot site; this database surfaces every card's text so you can look up effects fast.

Each player starts with their Legend in play, draws an opening hand, and alternates turns. On your turn you generate Energy, play cards into your row, attack a Battlefield (or defend yours), and resolve combat using a Unit's Might. The card pool has nine types: Unit, Champion Unit, Spell, Signature Spell, Gear, Battlefield, Rune, Legend, and Token. Full beginner walkthrough on the rules page.

Each deck card expands inline to show the full Legend, Champion, main deck, Battlefields, runes, and sideboard, with one-click TCGplayer buy links. The r/RiftboundTCG subreddit and Riot's Piltover Archive cross-post tournament-winning lists shortly after each event.

A drag-and-drop builder is in development on this site. Riot's Piltover Archive (piltoverarchive.com) is the official Riftbound deck builder with hand-simulator and budget-variant tooling; Magical Meta and Riftbound.gg run popular community alternatives. The Riftbound deck builder here will live at /builder once the deck construction rules (Legend slot, Signature Spell slot, main and rune deck limits, domain restrictions) are wired up.

The Riftbound meta moves fast. Unleashed (UNL) reshuffled the top decks shortly after release, and Spiritforged (SFD) introduced new champion archetypes. For current tier rankings, the r/RiftboundTCG weekly meta thread, Mobalytics' top-decks page, and TCGFan's meta breakdowns track win-rates and tournament placements set-by-set. A meta page on this site is planned once decklist scraping is wired.

There is no official Riot-hosted digital client yet. Most online play runs through community TCG Arena (TTS/community builds). Search 'TCG Arena Riftbound' for the most active mod. Riot has acknowledged interest in a digital companion but has not announced a release window.

Yes. Riot's official Riftbound event locator (locator.riftbound.uvsgames.com/events) lists sanctioned tournaments worldwide, from local store events to Regional Qualifiers and Cash Showdowns. Filter by region and date. After an event runs, check /decklists for the top-cut deck lists.

Riftbound Unleashed (UNL, set 3) released on 2026-05-08. The full release roadmap above shows every set TCGplayer has catalogued, including the upcoming Vendetta (VEN) booster.

Piltover Archive (piltoverarchive.com) is Riot's official Riftbound site, bundling the card gallery, deck builder, hand simulator, and tournament champion decks into one product. Sealed product (Origins booster boxes, Unleashed booster boxes, Proving Grounds starter bundles) sells through Riot's distribution partners and most local game stores. Singles are listed on TCGplayer. Every card page on this site links directly to its TCGplayer product page with affiliate tagging. Buying through those links supports the database at no extra cost to you.

Yes. Riot's April 2026 Tournament Rules (section 601.3) define a banned list; known banned cards include Fight or Flight, Scrapheap, and Reaver's Row (all from the Jinx Champion Deck preconstructed product). At low-OPL events like Nexus Nights, players using the exact unmodified preconstructed deck contents may still include the banned cards that ship with the box.
